| The following setup instructions are for Microsoft Windows ME. |

Step 1. Click on My Computer. Click on Control Pannel ,/td> |

Step 2. Click on Dial-Up Networking. |

Step 3. Click on Make New Connection. |

Step 4. The Make New Connection Wizard appears. Type Caliber Connections for the name of the computer you are dialing into. Set the device as your modem and click next. |

Step 5. Enter the Area Code and Phone Number of the local Caliber Connections access number. 847-837-7700 Click next.
Be sure to check with your local telephone company to make sure the number you are dialing is local and free of additional charges.
Step 6. Click Finish to create your new Caliber Connections Dialup Icon. |

Step 7. Once you create the Caliber Connections dial-up Icon, you should check the dial-up Properties and make sure they are set properly. Right-click on the Caliber Connections dial-up icon to bring up the menu and select Properties. |

Step 8. Click on the Server Types tab and set your computer as shown on the picture. Then click on the TCP/IP Settings button to see the settings for Step 9.

Step 9. Clicking on the TCP/IP Settings button will bring up this window. Set your systems settings as they are on the picture. Click OK, then OK again, to return to your Caliber Connections Dial-up Icon. You are now properly configured to dial into the Caliber Connections Network.
NOTE: Once you finish configuring your settings, you can then drag and drop the Caliber Connections Dial-up Icon onto your Desktop or Start Tool Bar for easy access. |

Step 10. Click on the Caliber Connections icon to launch the dialup access window. |

Step 11. Enter the following information as shown:
User name: Also called your User ID. Your Username must be entered, (just like your e-mail address). If your username is johnsmith then your User ID is johnsmith . Be sure you enter the Login ID as all lower case - no CAPITAL letters (make sure caps-lock is not on). Password: Enter your login password. It too must be in all lowercase.
Save Password: If you want Windows to save your password, check the Save Password check box.
Click the Connect button and your machine should connect to the Caliber Connections Network.
Should this not happen recheck your settings and try again. |
