1.	CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION, the finest internet service provider in Lake County, Illinois, is pleased that you have decided to take the time to learn about our privacy policy. We share your concern about privacy and respect your privacy rights, and our policies reflect our commitment to you, our customer.
2.	CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION requires certain information at the time you register and sign-up for internet service from us, as well as, from time to time, during the course of our providing customer support. That personal information may include such items as your name, address, zip code, telephone number, date of birth, credit card information, user name, password, browser type, aggregate traffic patterns through our website and the like. Such information is, however, necessary for us to provide the best and highest quality service and support to you. Some information you provide to us will be encrypted, through a secure socket layer ("SSL") as a means of protecting that information. Nonetheless, it goes without saying that, once you register with us you will no longer be anonymous to us. 3.	We want you to understand that CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION takes your privacy very seriously. We do not rent, sell or share information with other people or companies. Your personal information will not be released to anyone else, except employees of Caliber Connections Corporation in order to better serve and meet your needs and to provide you with the best and highest quality customer service, unless we are required by law or contract to do so.

Notwithstanding the forego, CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION may provide your personal information when responding to complaints, or to regulatory and administrative agencies in the discharge of their or our statutory or regulatory obligations, or when complying with the legal requirements and demands, such as a subpoena or court order issued, ordered, made or associated with a criminal, civil, regulatory or administrative proceeding or investigation.

Disclosure can also occur should CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION elect to monitor any area of communications or usage of any kind to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, or if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate or maintain our business, or to protect the rights or property of CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION or others. CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION also reserves the right to sell or transfer all or any of your information to a third party that may purchase CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION's operations or assets, provided to the extent that any such third party shall agree to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy. Additionally, if you are an employee of one of our corporate customers be advised that we may be contractually obligated to share information with your employer. While we will strive to keep your information in confidence, we may nevertheless be required to disclose such information by contract or by law.
6.	Similarly, your personal information may be disclosed when you send us an e-mail. Your e-mail, however, is typically directed to the appropriate employee for review and action. In cases where you seek advice or other sources of information we may occasionally forward copy to a third party that may be able to assist you or us in addressing the matter. Rest assured that we will not send unsolicited e-mail, except as part of our normal business operations, and then usually for such things as billing reminders, service up-dates, and other generalized notices pertaining to changes or upgrades in services, changes in policy, among other things. We also do not run an e-mail list and do not subscribe to or participate in any services that provide such lists.
7.	E-mail harvesting is forbidden at or on our site. Anyone attempting to harvest our e-mail addresses will be reported to their Internet Service Provider ("ISP") with a request to terminate the offending account(s). We have stealth features designed to record such harvesting attempts and which will notify automatically the proper authorities.
8.	Further, spam is not welcomed at or on our site. CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION will contact the ISP involved and request the termination of the offending account(s). Additionally, CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION will install blocks after the first attempt and will send notice to the ISP advising them that it is being blocked. CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION does not collect or record any personal information about any of our public visitors. Although we have a log file which tells us the Internet Protocol ("IP") address and referring page of our visitors, we make no effort to tie any of that information to you personally and, indeed, we have no way of doing so.
9.	Finally, we operate in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, among others, and do not permit registration by, or knowingly collect or use personal identifying information from anyone under the age of 13. If a child under the age of 13 attempts to register with us, we ask the child to have a parent or guardian ("parent") create an account for the child to ensure that we obtain parental permission and consent. It is your obligation as a parent to warn your child or ward not to talk to strangers or anyone else they encounter on the internet. Towards that end, as a parent it is your responsibility to counsel and educate your child not to reveal personal information, including, but not limited to, their name, address, telephone number, household or other personal information to anyone. Parents should advise their children not to register or fill out any forms at any internet web site without their knowledge and consent. Parents may want to consider preventing or limiting a child's access to certain materials on line by using commercially available parental control or filtering software.
10.	CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION site contains links to other web sites. CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION is not responsible or liable for the privacy practices of those web sites. It is your responsibility as a consumer to read the privacy policy of each website you visit. This privacy policy applies exclusively to the information collected on CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION's website.

CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION's privacy policy may be conveniently summarized as follows: CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION does not sell your e-mail address, your name, your browsing patterns or habits, your phone numbers or your street address, and we do not place cookies on your computer or otherwise attempt to track your online behavior. Your privacy remains secure, with just your username and preferences being saved online. Regardless, in the end, IT IS UP TO YOU TO BE VIGILANT, CAREFUL, AND RESPONSIBLE WHEN SURFING THE WEB, VISITING SITES, AND IN ALL OF YOUR ON LINE ENCOUNTERS. Educate yourself and your children about your privacy and your rights.
12.	CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to update this policy at any time and without notice. Any person choosing to use CALIBER CONNECTIONS CORPORATION will be subject to the version of the privacy policy in effect at the time of that usage and such collection of information.
